打掃地板時若需要休息或暫停片刻，清理者會將掃把倚靠在牆上或放置於地面上。但在打掃大面積的空間時，牆面距離可能有些遠，附近也無其它物件可用來倚靠。若是放置於地面上則需要俯身提起，這對於年長者來說非常費力。Standing Broom 是一把附有可折折疊構裝置的掃把，只要下壓掃把便可使其折疊然後立於地面上，快速而簡單。如此一來便減少了累人的動作，讓打掃的工作更為輕鬆。清理者將掃把往下壓，掃把頭內的裝置便會鬆開而彎折，此時變成一個穩固的底座支撐掃把，使其站立。若要使用掃把時，只需將掃把反折以接上內部的卡榫，便可恢復成原來的掃把繼續使用。 Cleaner always puts the broom against the wall or on the floor to rest when cleaning. But it’s a trouble to deal with the broom when cleaning a large space, for example, the wall might be far away from the cleaner; it is tiring to always pick up a broom that is laying down. Standing Broom can stand up by itself to avoid stooping down to pick it up, and the cleaner doesn’t need to put against anywhere. Therefore, it makes the cleaning job easy to do and it’s especially helpful to the elders. Cleaner needs to put pressure downward on the handle then turn clockwise on the lock in the block for keeping the broom folded. To unlock the broom from its standing position, just turn counter-clockwise on the block, and snap the broom into vertical position.
