With its unique battery-charging system, YoYo Mouse aims to combine healthcare with a technological application. These days we are spending more and more time at our computers for work and entertainment. This can lead to shoulder and wrist pain, despite the ergonomic design of our equipment and furniture. What’s more, physical inactivity can have other undesirable results on health and wellbeing. YoYo Mouse reduces the potential damage that can result from prolonged computer use by necessitating physical activity. The mouse is shaped like a yo-yo and is recharged through a yo-yo action, which exercises the hand, wrist, and arm. The winding action recharges the mouse’s battery. 現代人因為工作或娛樂的因素，使用電腦的時間越來越長，當我們長時間使用電腦時，即使開發再厲害人體工學，也會造成肩膀和手腕的傷害，而問題的本質不在於人體工學，而在於人們一坐下去使用電腦就不起來活動。 根據相關文獻的統計指出，使用者使用滑鼠時間佔總電腦使用時間的 2/3 以上，上網時更達到 87%，因此，本設計將滑鼠進化為同時擁有娛樂價值與享樂價值的產品，同時將關懷使用者健康的概念融入科技產品中，因此誕生了-YoYo Mouse。 YoYo Mouse是一隻結合溜溜球功能的環保無線滑鼠，它的電力來源就來自於玩溜溜球的動作，當我們使用滑鼠一段時間後，發現滑鼠沒電了，此時就必須藉由玩溜溜球的動作來發電，以供應滑鼠電力，因此YoYo Mouse不僅是藉由玩樂行為來發電，同時也能讓人們活動筋骨，降低長時間使用電腦對身體的傷害，舒緩人們的心情。
