The combination of this technology with EVA kickboard, survivors are able to dispatch SOS without additional communication apparatus. Simply press the Distress Radio Beacon Transmitter of the kickboard, the rescue team can track the signal by Search And Rescue Satellite-Aided Tracking, SARSAT. Once the signal was received, they can notify the nearby vessels or rescue team. This device can be placed on the boat and used during emergency.

 在海上發生船難時，在沒有通訊設備的情況下就算落海者被海水沖離沉船點，救援單位仍可透過雷達以及追尋信號發射點找到落海者的海域位置，落海者藉由按下浮板上的「急難無線電訊號發射器」按鈕傳送訊號，按下按鈕後可以立即被國際「搜索與救援衛星輔助追蹤」衛星發現，通知離訊號發射地點的鄰近船隻及援救單位出動救援，平時可放置於海上交通工具儲存電源，並且在危急時刻丟入海中，
