When wrapping by using a tape we always have 2 problems:

one is sticking with unsurely direction (not as straight as the box edge);

the other is hard to get tape out of the object.

A transparent dotted line in the middle of the tape.

People could stick the tape as the line goes!

When finish using tape, just pull the tape apart as the line direct. Simple One line gets two easy!
