An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
The concept of “E-Drip Stand” is trying to prevent the backflow of blood from the neglect of duty of care. The uniqueness solution lies in the way the design can sense the weight of drip bags and uses LED light to remind people how much the capacity is left. The LED light will not be activated until to the remainder of 50c.c. which is the safe range of the capacity. So people can immediately change the drip bag for the patient.
By the LED warning light nurses can easily know the condition of the capacity and change the drip bag at the right time. On the other hand they even can earn more time to take a break to ease their workload.

透過雲端點滴監測系統實作「智慧醫院」「智慧病房」的概念。幫病人打點滴與更換點滴包是護理師每天的重要工作項目，依據病患用藥的類別、劑量、時間、病情需要細心且謹慎的施打、記錄並更換，但在每次進行的過程中因為同時照顧多位病人，造成護理師忙碌奔波，容易疏忽忘了更換點滴包而產生病人血液逆流甚至造成醫療糾紛。為了及時通知護理師其負責的病人點滴包即將用盡，本計劃期待設計出支援「通知訊息傳送」的雲端網路系統，其有以下目標：
1. 透過系統即時知會護理師其負責病人之點滴包狀況
2. 透過雲端紀錄醫師針對點滴包下達的相關指示
3. 透過雲端紀錄護理師更換點滴包之時間、格式，以保障護理師與病人兩造之權利
4. 透過雲端統整病人相關資訊並提供於護理站，便於管理
