一個大風天的午後，小學的最後一天，孩子們跑到一片斜斜的山坡草地放風箏。山坡草地上有一座生鏽的巨大廢棄水塔，突然一陣奇異的強風吹來把風箏吹到水塔上。孩子們冒險爬上高聳搖晃的水塔梯子，越爬越高，甚至比電線杆和大樹都還高的地方。然而當他們好不容易勾到風箏，主角失去重心從水塔摔落，一瞬之間一陣強勁大風再次吹起，不可思議的大風救了主角，同時也將風箏線吹斷。然後，大風散去，孩子們失去了風箏，只能望著它離開，在水塔上，孩子們看到了從未見過的小鎮風景。
 

大風天描述一群孩子面對失去和時間的流逝產生的矛盾，他們如何從拒絕接受、爭執、到最後眼見失去的發生，到最後發現新的視野，面對人生的下一個階段。

 

On a windy afternoon, three kids skipped their graduation ceremony and ran into a sloping and lush hillside to fly a kite, which was left by their other friend that had just moved away. On the hill, a strange gale swayed their kite and accidently stuck it into the top of the abandoned water tower standing alone on the meadow.

The kids decided to risk climbing up the shabby ladder, and some magical and mysterious things happened to them on the top that made them change. Eventually, the kids could only witness the kite flying away but couldn’t stop it. However, on the top of the tower, they saw the scenery of the town they had never seen before.

The Windy Day describes a group of children experiencing the loss of childhood and the passage of time. How they refused to accept, argued, and finally saw the loss happen, but meanwhile they discovered a whole new perspective, the beauty of the loss itself and stood up to face the next page of life.
