根據FAO(The Food and Agriculture Organization)的「THE STATE OF WORLD FISHERIES AND AQUACULTURE 2022」統計資料指出,2020年全球內陸水產養殖產量為5,440萬噸,且內陸水生動物養殖佔水產養殖總產量的62.2%。

Based on FAO's data in 'THE STATE OF WORLD FISHERIES AND AQUACULTURE 2022,' global inland aquaculture produced 54 million tons in 2020, and inland farming of aquatic animal species represented 62.2% of total aquaculture production.

Concrete pond is one of main aquaculture method. Cement's heat-absorbing property challenges pond ecological balance, moreover its production contributes 8% to global carbon emissions, indirectly worsening global warming.

‘Cycleaqua,’ crafted from eco-friendly material, which can reduce carbon emissions by 30-90% compared to commercial cement. It not only promotes a sustainable environment but also fosters a circular economy, aligning with SDG9 for sustainable industry and infrastructure. Ensuring structural stability, ‘Cycleaqua’ is lighter than traditional wave-dissipating blocks, and its design enhances habitat conditions for aquatic flora and fauna within fishponds.
